Damhsa an Dóchais (Dance of Hope) is inspired by the Irish dancers of BIIRD, as well as Irish fashion design and the use of the keffiyeh as a symbol of solidarity with Palestine. The painting brings together movement, colour and Irish cultural influences, exploring the connection between dance, fashion and identity.
